About:
.A small horror game made for Brackeys Game Jam 2022.1 in 3 days. The player is a hospital patient suffering from severe mental issues that cause hallucinations. If you can't get to sleep before 12AM it can take over, even if it's not real. Try to manage your hallucination whilst trying to sleep.
Controls:
.Mouse Movement - Camera Movement
.Right Mouse Button - Sleep
.Left Click - Toggle Lamp
.Escape - Pause
The Game Jam:
.As seen in the list below, this game did rely on many factors to be somewhat "complete". I am quite happy with the finished product, but it definitely could be improved. For example, the pause menu looks like it was thrown together in 2 minutes, as I just didn't have enough time to get more than the base functionality. I did spend quite along on polishing, optimizing and improving the graphics, which could have been levelled out to suit my time a bit more if I planned out the more important goals better.

First game of the 3, We liked it, got me spooked a couple times :)
Very creepy and challenging game. Great work!
Awesome game! As someone who is extremely paranoid of sounds at night this game had me on the edge of my seat (literally) and I have enjoyed this alot. My only problem is I cant seem to win because sounds happen to often which leads me to turn on the light and lose all of my sleep progress with a single right click. If you want to balance this I suggest making the space between sounds longer and making the sleep counter not erradicate as soon as your light is on.
Thanks for the feedback, during development I kept completing everything too quick, I wasn’t thinking about the player’s experience with the difficulty , so I just kept pushing the difficulty . If I end up doing an update, there will be quite a lot more to come
Ok, can't wait for the post jam version. By the way if you need any play testers so your difficulty is balanced I'm free to test it out. (oh and I understand the rushing thing, its a common occurence in game jams and its fine)
I was fond of the game, even thou it has some balancing issues. Most of all, I admired the set, design, the authentic look and of course the ghostly figure, that animation was neat. For the jam project, well done.
Thanks for the feedback! After watching your video, I can now see how unbalanced and unclear some things are. Just wondering, did the game look quite different from the screenshots? Because when I built the browser version, it just looked off.
This is also my first game that someone has made a video on, it was funny watching you swear at the intro
I am glad you enjoyed my video. The game is really unique and has some potential. Personally, I was drawn to this game, because I used to work as a nurse in the hospital, so I find the environment very familiar. For the first game, it was amazing. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Just wondering, did the graphics look "off" compared to the page background? I think when I switched the project to build for webgl it changed a few things that aren't the same in the windows versions.
Both were fine to me, it depends on PC I guess. All worked perfectly.
